A time when radio was fun?  When you felt connected to something bigger than your car radio? When there was a sense of real community, engagement, inspiration and just plain old, good fun? 

 

We are Media One.

 

We are committed to bringing back the good times on broadcast radio. No mere streamer of the same old music, day in and day out. We are committed to the careful curation of music with the clear and determined goal of bringing value to your listening time—with the reward of feeling connected to something greater than the parts. Engaging advertisements, musical stingers, fun promotions, and occasional special broadcasts. Just like the old days on terrestrial radio. The station will be primarily focused in Wildwood, New Jersey and its surrounding markets. As Wildwood was the birthplace of Rock & Roll and Motown, it is by nature the ideal venue to launch a station that pays homage to the greats with the due respect, rejuvenation, and excitement such a station should, and will engender. However, with the advent of global digital media, we are excited to anticipate a growing community worldwide that places great value on good music; warm, entertaining talent; and a flavor that is unique in today’s corporate, ratings driven, vanilla offerings that are frequently non-inspiring and often difficult to remain focused on. We are about creating community. Through the power of music, which we feel in many instances is directly connected to the power of love we will strive to engage with and promote a growing community of listeners who are likewise committed to stimulating real, tangible social vibrancy that is about fun, brotherly love, and engagement not politics, angst, division and hurtful messages.

A very real phenomena that could have the potential to revitalize that core energy within the public venue that once was.  That je ne sais quoi that was ever present, that couldn’t be identified but you knew it when you turned that dial to the right station! For this to happen requires a lot of hard work, talent, time, and resources. This is where you may have an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than all of us. Please, do not feel you need to contribute a large sum of money. It’s all about the numbers. Many contributors supporting this effort could have far more worth and impact than a few making a relatively large contribution. We would be grateful for any and all contributions, because they have value far beyond the their intrinsic monetary measure. They indicate to us the value and excitement you place and engage with as a Media One listener and potential contributor and that alone is worth a great deal to us! It takes inspiration, motivation, talent and commitment to undertake this enterprise, and equally as important as the monetary revenue generated, is that revenue in the form of public value, excitement and appreciation for something that will become a public treasure over time.  Won’t you please consider joining us in this potentially powerful platform of love, engagement and the good times coming back to Wildwood and THE WORLD.
